“Microbiology in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing,” 09-10 July 2008, Pune

Prescription Pharma Support has successfully completed another interactive Training Program, “Microbiology in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing”. This event has been immensely successful on the basis of its interactive learning design and has specifically addressed practical issues in relation to the theme, for Pharma and Biotech companies alike.

Attended by around 60 persons from all over India, the program also received outstanding reviews for the Workshop Leaders, Karen Ginsbury, President, PCI Consulting, Israel, and Vijay Kshirsagar, Executive VP – Corporate QA and RA, Unichem Labs, India.

“CTD : Challenges for Industry”, 9-10 June 2008, Amman

After completion of the last programs related to Pharma Production and Quality themes, Prescription Pharma Support’s latest event held in Jordan, “CTD : Challenges for Industry”, 9-10 June 2008, Amman, drew an equal enthusiasm from the Regulatory departments of the industry.

The highlights of this program, is the interaction by the participants through various exercises, presented by our Industry expert, Ms. Garima Jain, PharmaLink Consulting India, and most importantly, the live demonstration on Electronic Submissions, eCTD, by our Speakers from US, Mr. Shy Kumar, Datafarm Inc., and the clarity of the concepts and valuable live case studies presented by Ms. Yolanda Hall, Datafarm Inc.

“Technical and Regulatory Challenges for Validation,” 29-30 May 2008, Istanbul

At this Training, the specially designed interactive lecture sessions focussed on the importance of conducting validation studies as specified by European Regulatory Authorities. The program also had TWO Hands-On Workshops, on practical issues related to Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Processes and Utilities.

All aspects of Validation, Production Process, Equipment, Analytical Method and Cleaning Validations were addressed by renowned experts, Gordon Farquharson, Bovis Lend-Lease, UK and Pravin Manker, Bombay College of Pharmacy, Mumbai.

“Isolators : Current Issues and Technologies”, 17-18 April 2008, Hyderabad

The Pharma industry is evolving rapidly and India is not far behind US and EU in adopting the latest technologies and quality manufacturing practices.

At our latest program in Hyderabad, “Isolators : Current Issues and Technologies”, 17-18 April 2008, Hyderabad, Prescription Pharma Support has endeavored to bring to the Indian Pharma industry the latest updates and advances in the field of Isolation technologies.

At this exclusive Training Program, our industry experts, Neil Grumbridge, Health Protection Agency, UK and Pravin Manker, Bombay College of Pharmacy, India have put together the sessions, also in consultation with Mr. Thomas Huber and Sigwarth Volker, from Skan Technologies, Switzerland, who have shared their extensive Practical experience and expertise on this subject.

This program was well attended by around 80 persons from industry, both current users of Isolators, as well as those looking at upgrading their facilities to the use of isolators in the near future.
